Welcome to the Irish Onsite Wastewater association (IOWA) website!

We are happy to announce the 2010 IOWA conference.  The conference will take place on Wednesday, 5th May 2010 at the Heritage Hotel in Portlaoise and will focus on the changes and implications of the new EPA Code of Practice, 2009.

The focus on the conference will be the new Environmental Protection Agency Code of Practice for Wastewater Treatment and Disposal systems for Single Houses.  Speakers will include Lawrence Gill of Trinity College Dublin and technichal reviewer of the Code of Practice, Ivan Grimes from the Department of the Environment Heath and Local Government, Paddy Kavanagh from ESBI and the Western River Basin District, a Local Authority speaker and others.

IOWA was formed in 2007 with the aim of the association of providing a discussion and communication forum for all topics involving onsite or unsewered wastewater.

The association is open to any person interested in on-site wastewater management i.e. industry, regulatory/advisory, training, research etc.
